I've worked in Buckhead for 43 years. In the early 80's I ate there every morning. THE best place to eat breakfast or lunch. Time, work, job chages, marriage, life got in the way and I hadn't been back. I had a free morning, didn't have my wife's fab breakfast and decided what the hell, go get something you never eat due to diet constraints. I went and sat at the bar and waited for an order of chicken biscuits and gravy...to go. The wait staff was so sweet, and then I went a short way back to the office to work. Sat down at the computer with my breakfast and I have to say....THAT is the standard of how chicken...biscuits...sausage gravy should taste. The best thing I've put in my mouth from a breakfast restaurant. The fried chicken break cuts melted in my mouth. I will now make this a regular stop. I'd rather pay 18.00 with tip for this than 7.00 for a McMeal any day

Second visit here and this homestyle diner, with fresh traditional dishes hasn't dissapointed! The bacon, Egg, and Cheese croissant with hashbrowns was delicious. ($14.00) My order came out in a timely manner, and the customer service was great! Vibes are casual. This location has free parking right out front.

First let me say that Kimberly, our server, was great. Though we took up her table for the better part of 2 hours, she never tried to rush us on. She just kept coming with more coffee. This is a cute little breakfast & lunch diner (it's actually pretty big but you'd never guess from the storefront). When I say cute, I mean homey. It's not the prettiest but it's welcoming. The food is good. Better than good. I had the oatmeal & brown sugar. The sugar comes on the side and the oatmeal is just the right consistency. No lumps. So I asked my friend about his dish, hotcakes & hash browns, and he raved about them. It's the little things but the food is made with care and that works so much better than a great look and feel but flavourless & less than well made. Greatly recommend. Enjoy!

If you're on the hunt for a classic home style diner, you've found it. Not only does the White House serves up some of the best classic diner style food, but the service is also on par. My go-to is the Tennessee eggs: buttery eggs scrambled with tons of garlic and parsley with a side of hash browns. While the food is great and the service is sweet as ever, the prices are definitely reflective of Buckhead A $50 diner breakfast between two people is an occasional treat. In the meantime, I'll be at Waffle House!

A good and solid diner type situation. It's nothing flashy or nothing special, but if you want some eggs and hash browns and toast, this is your place. It's a real family-owned kind of vibe, and everybody there is so nice and friendly. I would definitely keep visiting, I think it's a basic situation but it's worth it. You know you have those spots around Atlanta that do all the fancy shrimp and grits and all that kind of stuff, this isn't that. But just solid diner food, this is the way.

Homestyle diner feel, right out of the 70s. The service provided by a sweet elderly woman who was clear passionate about her job, warmed my heart. While the food prices reflects Buckhead ($23 OTD for their White House breakfast) Eggs - buttery Bacon - perfectly crispy Coffee - fresh Hashbrowns - crispy 9.2/10 would recommend!

Just a Killer breakfast (lunch) joint! Greek runs deep in this place-inlet w gyro meat (and taziki sauce on the side for me!). Great grits, Amazing biscuits, great Everything! My Dad is all over the fried grouper. Consistently delicious, good variety of veggies and lunch choices-this place is an Institution in ATL..and rightfully so!

If you're looking for a quick, quality traditional diner breakfast - this is your spot. The restaurant ambiance is traditional diner style with some tables, booths along the wall and a bar top facing the open kitchen with swivel stools. I stopped in here for a pre-conference breakfast and had my food less than 10 minutes after sitting down. My waitress at the bar (didn't grab her name) was sweet, attentive and speedy. I ordered the fruit cup and an omelette. The fruit cup was 10/10. Typically I find fruit cups mostly consist of the "cheaper" fruits (cantaloupe, etc), but this one had banana, berries, apple, grapes and more. The omelette was also fantastic - egg whites, vegetables and grilled chicken. Came with two pieces of buttered wheat toast. All in all, highly recommend. Total price for the meal, including coffee, was $23. I'd typically think this was *slightly* steep for a diner price, but a grilled chicken egg white omelette is likely not their frequent order and would be similarly priced at restaurants where it is more likely.
